“WE ARE HERE TO TRANSFORM THE WORLD OF CONSUMERISM FOR THE BETTER”
Marco Reiter & Moritz Offeney, ETIQL
We are proud to strictly produce with European artisans, who are world leaders in their categories. Sadly, our corporations have moved jobs and productions in countries far away from Europe to satisfy their never ending pursuit for more profits.
As a result, thousands of European producers had to close their business and we are observing the severe consequences for our climate:
To reduce production costs, products are produced in regions where most of the energy is still generated through coal power plants, one of the cheapest and dirtiest ways to produce energy.
Huge order Quantities need to be produced to leverage on economies of scale in manufacturing, leading to a massive overproduction and a waste of resources.
Products need to be shipped for weeks from their place of production to their target markets in Europe, instead of being produced where they are actually sold.
This has to change.
We are here to transform the way we produce and consume products, building a way to a more sustainable business model that is preserving our planet's resources and supporting ethical labor standards.
