About Tassel Loafers
The classic slip-on loafer offers a sophisticated yet comfortable alternative to the traditional lace-up shoe. With its traditional low cut and flat heel, the loafer can be combined with almost any style. London shoemaker Wildsmith is credited with creating the first modern loafer in 1926 for King George VI, after which it was popularised by US shoemaker G. H. Bass.
